Which Plan Fits You? Free Plan Silver Plan Gold Plan Platinum Plan Enterprise Plan Plans by Organizer Type Frequently Asked QuestionsIf you're starting out, the Free plan gets you up and running right away. Paid plans are designed to reduce the manual overhead that builds as your coordination grows — more participants, more events, more people helping organize. This guide walks through each tier so you can choose based on what you actually need.

Use this quick reference to narrow things down before diving into the details. Each plan includes everything from the tier below it, plus additional features.
| Plan | Best For | Key Signal to Choose It |
|---|---|---|
| Free | Individuals and small groups | Simple, occasional sign ups with no customization needed |
| Silver | Small groups wanting cleaner sign ups | You want ad-free pages, custom questions, or text reminders |
| Gold | Growing teams with shared leadership | Multiple co-organizers, repeat events, or need for QR codes and scheduling controls |
| Platinum | High-volume, ongoing organizers | Frequent sign ups at scale with full customization and no limits |
| Enterprise | Organizations needing branded infrastructure | Embeddable sign ups, portal pages, and org-wide controls |
The Free plan is a solid starting point for individuals and small groups running straightforward sign ups. You can create unlimited sign ups, coordinate volunteers or event slots, and start collecting responses right away without any setup cost.
Every product on the platform is available on the Free plan. That includes Sign Ups, Fundraisers, Dues and Fees, Events, Online Stores, Peer-to-Peer Fundraisers, Forms and Waivers, and Group Gifts. The free plan isn't a demo — it's a fully functional starting point.
Most organizers who stay on Free are running low-frequency sign ups with small groups where manual follow-up is manageable. When coordination grows, that's usually when friction appears: ads on participant-facing pages, limited custom questions, and no text reminders.
Already outgrowing Free?
If you're chasing participants for responses or managing payments in a separate tool, a paid plan can give that time back.
Compare plansSilver is built for organizers who want a polished, distraction-free experience without a large commitment. The key additions over Free: ads are removed from one sign up, you can ask up to two custom questions at registration, and text reminders become available — one of the most effective ways to reduce no-shows.
It's a good fit for teachers collecting a small supply fee, coaches sending slot reminders by text, or anyone who wants participants to see a clean page rather than ads. Calendar sync is also included, so participants can add their slot directly to their own calendar without an extra step.
When you might move up: if you're running multiple sign ups and want ad-free pages across all of them, or need more than two custom questions, Gold covers both.
Gold is where shared coordination opens up. You can add up to 10 admins to your account, which matters for PTAs, school committees, volunteer teams, and faith groups where more than one person manages logistics. Start and stop scheduling, tabbed sign ups, QR code sharing, and email scheduling all come in at this tier.
This plan is popular with groups that run recurring events across a school year or program calendar. The combination of real-time coverage tracking, automatic reminders, and shared admin access reduces the back-and-forth that comes with manual coordination.
Genius Tip
If your group has a volunteer coordinator and a treasurer both managing sign ups, Gold's multiple admin access means neither has to share login credentials.
When you might move up: if you're running frequent, high-volume sign ups and want fully custom themes, unlimited ad-free pages, custom URLs, and expanded admin capacity, Platinum removes those limits.
Platinum is designed for organizers who run sign ups constantly and need everything to work without thinking about limits. You get fully customizable themes, unlimited ad-free sign ups, custom URLs, up to 20 admins, and slot images for a more visual participant experience.
The main reason organizers move to Platinum is volume. When you're managing a dozen sign ups at a time and need each one to look polished and load cleanly for participants, plan limits add friction to every cycle. Custom reporting is also available here, which helps teams track participation patterns, spot coverage gaps, and share data with leadership.
When you might consider Enterprise: if your organization needs sign ups embedded directly into your website, a central portal page for participants, or full removal of SignUpGenius branding, that's where Enterprise comes in.
Enterprise is built for organizations that need sign ups to feel like part of their own brand and infrastructure. You can embed sign ups directly into your website, remove SignUpGenius branding entirely, and create portal pages that give participants a central place to find everything your organization runs.
Dedicated account management is included, along with customized limits on admins, communications, and storage to match the scale of your operation. For large schools, faith organizations, and businesses coordinating participation across departments or locations, Enterprise provides the consistency and control that lower tiers don't cover.

Do all plans include the same products?
Yes. Every plan — including Free — includes access to all products on the platform: Sign Ups, Fundraisers, Dues and Fees, Events, Online Stores, Peer-to-Peer Fundraisers, Forms and Waivers, and Group Gifts. The difference between plans is depth of features, customization, admin capacity, and communication volume, not which products you can use.
Can I try a paid plan before committing?
Yes. SignUpGenius offers a free 10-day trial. No credit card is required to start. You can find the link on our Pricing Page
What happens to my sign ups if I downgrade?
Your sign ups and data are saved when you move between plans. Some features may become unavailable on a lower tier, but your content stays intact.
Is there a discount for paying annually?
Yes. Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly billing across all paid plans. See the current pricing breakdown at the pricing page.
Which plan is best for a nonprofit?
It depends on your scale and needs. Many nonprofits start on Free or Gold and upgrade as their volunteer and event coordination grows. Organizations that need branded infrastructure, embedded sign ups, or org-wide reporting typically move to Platinum or Enterprise. SignUpGenius also offers verified nonprofit badges for 501(c)(3) organizations using the Fundraisers product.
Do payment processing fees vary by plan?
No. Processing fees are the same across all plans — there's no plan-based markup. Fees apply per transaction and are consistent whether you're on Free or Platinum. See the pricing page for current rates.
I love SignUpGenius. I have scoured the web for a service like this, and I have found nothing that compares in ease and functionality.
